Apex Legends, the hit battle royale by Respawn Entertainment, will be celebrating its 3rd anniversary on February 4th, 2022. As a thank-you to players, a series of 3 free reward bundles will be released during the last three weeks of February.
Apex Legends 3rd Anniversary Giveaway: When Does It Start?
Apex Legends’ 3rd Anniversary Event will launch alongside Season 12: Defiance on February 8th, 2022, and will run until March 1st, 2022 – but players must log in each week to get all 3 reward bundles.
Legends who log in for all 3 weeks of the event will make out with a massive amount of loot: a total of 3 unlocked playable characters, 9 character-specific Thematic Apex Packs, and 1 Legendary Apex Pack.
Apex Legends 3rd Anniversary Celebration Free Rewards
Week 1: February 8th – February 15th
Players who log in between February 8th and February 15th will unlock Octane as a playable Legend (if they haven’t already), and receive 3 Thematic Packs, a special kind of Apex Pack that guarantees at least one character-specific cosmetic per pack. Naturally, in this instance, these will be Octane cosmetics.
Week 2: February 15th – February 22nd
Players who log in during week 2 will unlock Wattson as a playable Legend, and will also receive 3 Thematic Packs guaranteed to unlock at least one Wattson cosmetic per pack.
Week 3: February 22nd – March 1st
Players who log in during the final week of the event will unlock Valkyrie as a playable Legend, along with 3 Thematic Packs guaranteed to unlock at least one Valkyrie-exclusive cosmetic per pack.
Additionally, players who log in during week 3 will receive a bonus gift: a Legendary Apex Pack, guaranteed to unlock a random Legendary-tier cosmetic in the form of a character skin, weapon skin, gun charm, or banner frame.
What Time Does The Apex Legends 3rd Anniversary Celebration Start?
Each reward set becomes available at 10:00AM PT on the first Tuesday of the week, and ends at 9:59AM PT on the following Tuesday, so make sure you log in on time to avoid missing out on free rewards.
