Yes, okay, so I might be clutching at straws here, but when Allison Road was cancelled despite looking like one of the best horror games to look forward to, I was holding out hope that it wouldn’t be the end.
As unlikely as it is, Allison Road’s Facebook page recently being updated with a new profile picture could mean that we have yet to see the last of Lilith.
In case you missed out on the cancellation furore, Lilith Ltd was revealing during the gaming world’s Silent Hills hangover and looked like it could fill the void it left behind, or go some way towards scratching the itch. Things were going really well, the team were creating a devoted community and looked like they were working away on the game as excited to finish it as we were to play it.
And then Team17 came along and snapped up the publishing rights. The social media updates dried up completely and the game drifted out of public view until it was suddenly cancelled with a weak explanation given. It didn’t even seem like the developers knew why it found its way onto the great gaming scrapheap.
This is probably nothing, but considering how Chris Kesler has been quiet on the game and its future, perhaps it could be the sign that they’re going independent again and striking it out on their own? Who knows, but watch this space.
Aw, thanks a lot, that's really sweet :) Will post an update soon. https://t.co/6kAuYmHnWu

Even if it isn’t resurrected, at least we still have next year’s Agony to look forward to.
