If Allison Road‘s official twitter hasn’t been hacked and this is not a prank done in poor taste, just like P.T. – the game that inspired them in the first place – has been cancelled. The tweet doesn’t offer much detail beyond that, but a statement will come in the next few days.

The developer, Lilith Ltd, seems to have been shut down. Which is odd, considering the game’s website is still up and running. Team17, the publisher which Lilith Ltd had managed to land a deal with, has remained quiet about the whole ordeal. And the game’s creator, Chris Kesler, has also added to his twitter bio “Currently for Marvel. Once creator of Allison Road”.
Well, that sucks.
More information will be available soon, I’m sure. Until then let’s hope anyone else who wants to create a similar game to P.T. won’t fall into its cancellation curse.
