After Party, Tacoma And More Leaving Xbox Game Pass

So long, games. It's been fun.

Afterparty review

As is usually the case when some new Xbox Game Pass games are announced, Microsoft have revealed that we’ll be saying goodbye to six games from both the console and PC libraries, including the likes of After Party, Tacoma and LEGO Star Wars 3.

So Which Games Are Leaving?

We’ve already covered that five games will be leaving Game Pass on October 15th, including Saints Row IV: Re-Elected, State of Mind, Minit, Felix The Reaper and Metro 2033 Redux. However, the official blog post states that on October 30th, After Party, LEGO Star Wars 3 and Rise & Shine will leave the console library. Tacoma and The Lord of the Rings: Adventure Card Game will be removed from both console and PC while PC players will have to do without The Red Strings Club.

Oh No, What Do I Do?

Right now, because the games are still part of Xbox Game Pass, you can utilise the 20% discount that comes from a subscriber purchasing a Game Pass. Once purchased, you’ll be able to play the game forever, only without paying full price.
