AEW: Fight Forever Roster: Every Confirmed Wrestler So Far

Where's my shiny Nakazawa?

AEW Game

With the official announcement now confirming that the first-ever AEW video game, AEW: Fight Forever, is on its way to current and next-gen consoles, it’s safe to say that wrestling/gaming aficionados are pretty dang excited. Members of AEW’s top brass – Cody Rhodes and Kenny Omega – took to the live-streamed stage to reveal the first details of the game, which is still in stages of development. With the announcement came a brief glimpse of alpha gameplay, leaving everyone more than ready for more as we inch closer towards release.

With more features yet to be announced, there’s a lot to be expected from AEW and their latest partner in Yukes Games, a well-known developer among wrestling fans who have long-enjoyed their previous work in the WWE SmackDown franchise. AEW seek to produce something akin to the legendary No Mercy and Virtual Pro Wrestling, we’re just going to have to wait and see if they live up to the promise.

What Is The AEW Game Release Date?

There’s currently no confirmed release date for the AEW game, however we do know that it will be rolled out across both generations of consoles, which means PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X | S and Xbox One at the least.

There’s no word as to whether this will include PC, but with the majority of 2K’s wrestling games and NJPW-affiliated Fire Pro Wrestling World both finding a place in the PC market, it would be a shock if AEW didn’t follow suit.

If we had to guess, Q2 2021 sounds like a likely release window, unless AEW wanted to truly stick it to 2K Games and pen a release date in the Fall, around the same time as 2K’s next wrestling instalment.
