Epic Games and Nintendo have today revealed a new Switch console bundle that will launch in October and set players back $299.
Fortnite itself (at least its BR version, which is the only one you will find on Switch) is a free-to-play game, but the bundle comes with a couple of cosmetics as well as V-Bucks to well and truly fritter away on whatever tat is in the item shop.
The bundle also comes with what is likely going to be a Switch exclusive skin, though it is basically just a slightly retooled vision of a pre-existing skin.

“The Nintendo Switch: Fortnite – Double Helix Bundle includes a Nintendo Switch system, 1,000 V-bucks (in-game Fortnite currency) and the Double Helix Set – consisting of a unique Character Outfit, Back Bling, Glider and Pickaxe. The included V-Bucks can be used to purchase a Battle Pass, which unlocks additional in-game content for the free-to-play game, or can be used to purchase other in-game items.”
