A few weeks ago, a Soulcalibur VI leak revealed that the pirate lord Cervantes and the rapier wielding Raphael would be joining the roster. Today, it looks like that leak came true, via another leak though because of course. To reiterate an old joke, the gaming industry is leakier than a hole ridden boat.
As you can see in the gameplay trailer, Cervantes is bringing his trademark dual swords and pistol to Soulcalibur VI, able to devastate his opponents from both close and long range. He’s also still got his “totally not a Psycho Crusher” spin attack, which looks like it’s more likely to ring you out than actually hit your opponent. Be careful players, and spam Cervantes attacks responsibly.
Cervantes will be joining a stacked roster of newcomers and returning favourites, including our best boy Maxi.
