It’s been a long time in the making, but Kingdom Come: Deliverance is nearly finally here. If you can believe it, it’s been in production almost as long as this site. In fact, our interview with the guys at Warhorse was one of the first things we ever published, so you could say that we’re definitely interested to see how it pans out.
Ahead of its launch for PC, PS4, and Xbox One on February 13th, publisher Deep Silver have released a new trailer which again highlights how the wizards and goblins have been left at home to focus on gritty realism.
Check it out:
It looks and sounds impressive, especially the conviction in someone’s voice when they say “deep fucking shit”. I can respect that.
Elsewhere in the trailer, we get further glimpses at travelling on horses, the first-person (bloody) combat and more hints at the game’s overall story and themes. We know that you play as a blacksmith called Henry who is thrust into war in the region of Bohemia, but he shows reluctance in this newest trailer, almost as if he feels himself changing into a different person – it’ll be fascinating to see what narrative routes that takes Kingdom Come down.
Are you excited for the game? We have it down as one of the biggest new games of the year, but let us know what you think in the comments down below.
