Capcom Cult Classic Ōkami’s Amaterasu Gets The First 4 Figures Treatment

First 4 Figures, how you continue to spoil us. Not only did you give us a magnificent statue of Kirby last month, but you also presented us with an equally magnificent 45 minute making of documentary to boot. And now you’ve done the same thing with the wolf goddess Amaterasu from Capcom’s watercolor masterpiece, Ōkami. Could we really ask for anything more?

Including the Solar Reflector on her back, the total height of the statue is 12 inches, and the total length from her head to her tail is 17.5 inches. The Solar Reflector also includes built-in LED lights for a truly illuminating effect, and the traveling artist Issun can also be found perched atop of it.

Limited to 1350 copies worldwide, the statue is priced at $384.99, so be sure to give it a pre-order if you wallet can take it.

As they do with most of their products, First 4 Figures have once again created a documentary to detail the creation of the figure. Lasting for an incredible 59 minutes, this will probably bring a tear to the eye of Ōkami fans everywhere.

If, for some reason, you have yet to experience the joys of Ōkami (what a desolate life you must lead), it’s currently available to download on PS3 from the PS Store.
