First 4 Figures Announce Fighter Kirby Statue With Documentary

He may be a round pink ball of cuteness, but Kirby sure packs one hell of a punch. You wouldn’t want to get on the wrong side of this rotund little puffball of joy. Since his debut in Kirby’s Dream Land back in 1992, Kirby has gone on to become one of the most recognizable gaming characters in the world, with total sales of the series now having topped 34 million.

First 4 Figures are now accepting pre-orders for a new statue of Nintendo’s platforming icon, so if you’re a Kirby fan with $269.99 to spare, then this is for you. Sure, it ain’t cheap, but given the level of care and detail that went into its creation, I wouldn’t expect it to be. Standing at 13 inches tall, the statue comes with a hand numbered base and an authenticity card, and LED lights that bring the flames of Kirby’s kick attack to life.

A huge amount of work obviously went into creating the statue, which is why First 4 Figures released a 45 minute documentary on their YouTube channel to describe the step-by-step process of its creation. Even if you’re not interested in buying it, this is still an incredibly interesting watch.

As is the case with all First 4 Figures products, it’s absolutely beautiful. Who wouldn’t want to have this on display in their home?
