Suicide Squad Soundtrack Includes Eminem & Skrillex, But No Queen

DC’s other big superhero movie of the year has plenty of people excited. Some view it as an antidote to the overwrought Batman v Superman, while others are more than a little intrigued about Jared Leto’s turn as The Joker. Most people, however, probably became quite interested after that trailer featured a heavy dosage of Queen.

According to the soundtrack tracklist though, we won’t be getting the original Bohemian Rhapsody in the film itself, but rather Panic! At the Disco’s cover.

Here’s the tracklist in full (via Collider):

1. Purple Lamborghini – Skrillex & Rick Ross
2. Sucker For Pain – Lil Wayne, Wiz Khalifa & Imagine Dragons (with Logic, Ty Dolla $ign & X Ambassadors)
3. Heathens – twenty one pilots
4. Standing In The Rain – Action Bronson & Dan Auerbach (of The Black Keys) (feat. Mark Ronson)
5. Gangsta – Kehlani
6. Know Better – Kevin Gates
7. You Don’t Own Me – Grace (feat. G-Eazy)
8. Without Me – Eminem
9. Wreak Havoc – Skylar Grey
10. Medieval Warfare – Grimes
11. Bohemian Rhapsody – Panic! At The Disco
12. Slippin’ Into Darkness – War
13. Fortunate Son – Creedence Clearwater Revival
14. I Started a Joke – ConfidentialMX (feat. Becky Hanson)

Lots of rap, not a lot of rock. Let’s wait and see how these all work within the film. Judging by how they’ve nailed the trailer music so far, they will probably do the same for the DCEU’s biggest experiment yet.
