When Is Boarding School Juliet: Season 2 Coming Out?
Season 2 has not been officially announced, so it has no release date. Well, we did say potential.
The first and most recent TV season of Boarding School Juliet ended on 22 December 2018 after 12 episodes. It was one uninterrupted cour, not a split season, and no sequel film or OVA subsequently continued the story. The finale was appropriately titled “Romio and Juliet”; it remains listed as Episode 12 on the official anime site.
As of 7 October 2026, the anime’s official channels have not confirmed renewal or cancellation. Its website still documents the original 2018 production and broadcast, which began that October. That lengthy gap makes a sequel look increasingly unlikely, although “unlikely” is not the same as formally dead. But it is very unlikely by now.
What Could Boarding School Juliet: Season 2 Be About?
A sequel could move beyond Persia’s birthday and into the seaside camp, new school term and a more difficult romantic triangle.
Season 1 finished around the material collected in Volume 4, with Romio attempting to celebrate Persia’s birthday without alerting his intimidating older brother. Kodansha’s Volume 4 description matches that closing storyline.
Assuming Season 2 resumed from there, the natural starting point would be Volume 5. Dahlia Academy’s pupils attend a seaside camp, where Romio’s effort to secure a private date leaves the couple stranded together overnight. The following material brings a new term, exams and clandestine dates, while Hasuki’s unresolved feelings become harder to ignore. A school trip then pushes the Persia–Hasuki rivalry into the foreground.
That gives another season plenty to work with: escalating secrecy, genuine emotional consequences and school events almost scientifically designed to ruin private conversations.
Where Can You Watch Boarding School Juliet?
There is currently no verified legal streaming or digital-purchase option in either the UK or US.
The series originally received an overseas Amazon Prime Video release; the official broadcast notice confirms that arrangement. However, as of October 2026, the current US and UK listings report no available service.
Its surviving Prime Video catalogue page should therefore not be mistaken for an active standard-Prime entitlement. Availability can change, but at present both countries are regrettably benched.
