GTA VI’s Ultimate Edition Sure Has A Lot of Stuff Locked Away

Rockstar Games has revealed the contents of the Grand Theft Auto VI Ultimate Edition, and it sure does appear that a whole lot of content is being gated behind a paywall.

The Ultimate Edition includes a range of exclusive vehicles, weapons, clothing options, properties and activities that become available throughout Jason and Lucia’s story. Strangely, however, it will be digital only. Might be something to do with the fact that the game is not getting a physical release.

Among the vehicle additions are the ’67 Vapid Dominator Buggy, the ’95 Grotti Cheetah sports car, a Dinka Enduro motorcycle, Crest Kayak and a Shitzu Squalo speedboat. Players will also gain access to Paradise Garage in Watson Bay and a number of exclusive vehicle modification options for Jason’s Vapid Ganado pickup truck.

The package also unlocks two exclusive vehicle customisation businesses, Rideout Customs in Vice City and One-Eyed Willie’s in Lake Leonida. These locations offer additional cosmetic and performance upgrades not available in the standard game. Which is crazy. I can’t ever remember a shop being paywalled inside a premium price video game.

A new Classic Car Collection activity will task players with locating and restoring abandoned vehicles for local collector Wyman. Four of the restoration projects are exclusive to the Ultimate Edition.

Here’s all the vehicle screenshots:

Weapon bonuses include special versions of the Hawk & Little Morgan Revolver for both Jason and Lucia, alongside customised variants of Jason’s Girardi ES9 pistol and Lucia’s Klose K17 pistol.

Additional content includes exclusive outfits, hairstyles, tattoos and accessories for both protagonists. Players will also gain access to the Stock 305 clothing store, Sara’s Unisex Salon and Electric Fang Tattoo, which features more than 50 exclusive tattoo designs.

The Ultimate Edition also includes access to a special activity involving the PTT Youngin$ gang, allowing players to raid one of the group’s illegal goods operations for unique rewards.

Rockstar confirmed that Ultimate Edition owners will unlock content gradually as they progress through the game’s story. Players who purchase the Standard Edition will also be able to upgrade to the Ultimate Edition separately at a later date.

Alongside the Ultimate Edition announcement, Rockstar detailed the Vintage Vice City Pack, which is included with all digital purchases made before 20 November 2026 and with eligible physical pre-orders while supplies last.

The pack includes the ’55 Vapid Stanier sedan, the Shore Court Garage near Ocean Beach, two Vice City-inspired outfit sets for Jason and Lucia, additional hairstyles and a tropical-themed weapon pattern inspired by Tommy Vercetti.

Players who digitally pre-order any edition of Grand Theft Auto VI will also receive one month of GTA+ at no additional cost. The subscription includes monthly GTA$ deposits, bonus Shark Card offers, vehicle discounts and access to the GTA+ Games Library. The membership automatically renews after the free month unless cancelled.

No prices just yet, but it will not be cheap. Pre-orders open at midnight.
