Reinforcing in Company of Heroes 3 essentially means bringing back numbers to units that have taken losses.
To reinforce units in Company of Heroes 3, players must first ensure that they have sufficient Manpower and that they haven’t exceeded the Population Cap. Manpower constantly accrues over the course of a battle with income improved by capturing territory. Population Cap, meanwhile, is set to what seems to be a maximum of 100 during battle.
There are multiple ways of reinforcing your troops in Company of Heroes 3, the most popular and easiest being returning them to headquarters with auto-reinforce turned on. Certain capture points can also reinforce units, while there are also vehicles that reinforce infantry when they’re close to them. For American forces, for instance, the M3 Armored Personnel Carrier does this job, but you will also need to have placed a Weapon Support Center before they can be called in.
Lastly, if you choose the Airborne Battlegroup, you can earn the ability to periodically use Air Dropped Reinforcements over a particular area.
Company of Heroes 3 is available now on PC.
