Mopeful Games and No More Robots have announced that Fashion Police Squad, their non-violent FPS based on fashion, will be coming to PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store on August 15th, with a console release planned soon afterwards. No specific platforms have been announced yet, however. Check out the trailer at the top of the page.
Fashion Police Squad sees you playing as a member of the titular squad, completing levels where you correcting the fashion faux pas that surround you. As a non-violent shooter, the weapons you use don’t fire bullets. Instead, they help fix the shameful looking fits that people are rocking, letting them finally live their fabulous lives.
The catch is that each weapon is only really useful in certain situations, so the gameplay will see players cycling through their weapons quickly to determine which will be the most useful. Fashion crime doesn’t pay, but it does come with some upgrades to your wardrobe when you get caught, it seems. With a retro aesthetic combined with fun, modern shooter gameplay elements, Fashion Police Squad has all the makings of a real winner.
