Because some games just like to confuse people, Gal*Gunvolt Burst and Mighty Gunvolt Burst are the same game but just on different platforms. Both will be getting limited runs from Limited Run Games this Friday, August 28th.
Pre-orders will kick off at 10AM ET/3PM BST this Friday for both the Standard and Collector’s Editions of each with the former costing $29.99 and the latter setting you back $64.99. The CE will feature 245 stickers, the soundtrack, and nine acrylic standees for characters in the games.
Both games are side-scrollers in the vein of Mega Man and will allow you to play as Beck, Gunvolt, or Ekoro, and yes, that is the same Beck from Mighty No. 9 infamy.
Mighty Gunvolt Burst for Switch sits on a 76/100 on Metacritic while Gal*Gunvolt Burst for PS4 only has one review but it is a positive one.
