As per a press release from All Elite Wrestling, next week’s episode of Dynamite will feature a live crowd for the first time since the pandemic struck. Shows will continue to be aired from the Daily’s Place amphitheatre in Jacksonville, allowing for a limited capacity of 10/15%.
To ensure that all safety precautions and measures are followed, seating will be kept within pods of up to six people with those fans expected to wear face coverings and to maintain social distancing from others not in their pod. Fans will also have their temperatures scanned prior to entering the arena to avoid any possible spread of the contagion.

Tony Khan and Daily’s Place staff have undertaken significant measures to ensure the safety of all those involved in tapings of Dynamite each week, we trust that they will continue to operate with everyone’s health and best interests in mind as they become the first mainstream wrestling company to allow fans back into arenas.
AEW head-honcho, Tony Khan stated that:
“The health and safety of our AEW family and our fans remains our highest priority. Our leadership team and medical staff have adjusted our operations for limited, physically distanced fans in an
outdoor, open-air setting in compliance with the most current state and local regulations and
CDC guidelines. We can’t wait for the August 27 Dynamite, as the road to All Out will
represent the beginning of a new chapter in AEW history.”
This comes on the same week as the debut of WWE’s Thunderdome, a new venue for tapings of RAW, SmackDown and pay-per-views which will allow for fans to be virtually streamed into the arena for live reactions. Now that All Elite Wrestling have taken the first, brave steps towards normality, we imagine it won’t be long before WWE start taking the same initiative.
