As part of IGN’s ongoing Summer of Gaming event, more details have been revealed regarding Bandai Namco’s upcoming next-gen action game Scarlet Nexus, which is set to launch on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X with no set release date. The news comes from a brand new gameplay trailer, which you can check out below.
The trailer comes with a beautiful minute long sequence of original animation, before cutting to the gameplay proper. In the trailer, we see the game’s protagonist, Yuito Sumeragi, try to defend the city of New Himuka from the mutated Others. To do so, he’ll be able to utilise his latent psionic abilities as part of the Other Suppression Force.
Honestly, Scarlet Nexus seems to be a good blend of katana wielding action and the ability to yeet cars at monsters using your mind. We’re excited to see a lot more of this game over the coming weeks and months. Are you excited for Scarlet Nexus? Sound off in the comments.
