Though we still have a decent ways to go yet, Respawn have shared some hints at what we can expect from Apex Legends Season 3, which will be called Meltdown.
The new season begins on October 1st, bringing the new Legend, Crypto, with it. Crypto has been hinted at since the start of Season 2, as well as featuring in a little easter egg during the season. You can check out his lore trailer below.
Other additions will be the Charge Rifle, which will help you “carve your way across the Arena with this obliterating directed-energy weapon”, and a whole new Battle Pass.
The page on the Apex site for extra info is currently looking a little broken, but more will be revealed in due time.
Meltdown will follow Battle Charge, which introduced Wattson as well as whole bunch of map changes to the Arena.
Apex Legends is free-to-play via Origin, PS4, and Xbox One.
