Superhot Coming To The Nintendo Switch, Releasing Today

Super. Hot. Super. Hot.

Superhot

During today’s Nintendo Indie World presentation, it was revealed that the popular FPS Superhot will be making its way to the Nintendo Switch today, which certainly won’t come as a surprise to anybody who’s been following games industry leaks since Friday. Check out the announcement trailer below.

Unlike other first person shooters, Superhot operated more like a puzzle game, with a time only moves when you move mechanic that added a whole new layer of strategy to the game. Superhot launched on the PC back in 2016, but has been released on the PS4 and Xbox One as well, along with a dedicated VR spin-off and Superhot: Mind Control Delete, an Early Access title which added rogue-lite elements to the formula.

The Switch release was leaked back on Friday, as dataminer @itssimontime on Twitter found an update file for the game despite the fact it hadn’t even been announced yet. The leak was then seemingly confirmed by industry analyst Daniel Ahmad, who alluded to a game announcement during the presentation that would be “Hot”.

Will you be playing Superhot again on the Nintendo Switch? Let us know in the comments.
