7 Games Coming To Xbox Game Pass This August

And most of them drop tomorrow.

Man of Medan

If you’re looking for a host of new games to play via Xbox Game Pass, you’re in luck, as Microsoft have just announced that seven brand new games will be joining the subscription service during the first two weeks of August. Check out the tweet from Major Nelson regarding the announcement below.

While only five of the seven games will be available on PC, all seven games are coming to Xbox, and better still, six of them are dropping tomorrow, August 6th. Console players will be able to play Darksiders: Genesis and The Dark Pictures Anthology: Man of Medan, while console and PC players can play It Lurks Below, Xeno Crisis, Trailmakers and Undermine. Finally, on August 13th, both console and PC players can enjoy Final Fantasy VII HD. No, it’s not the remake, unfortunately.

On top of all this, you also have access to free game updates such as No Man’s Sky: Desolation, which launched recently, along with perks for games like Phantasy Star Online 2, Sea of Thieves, World of Tanks and more. With Battletoads, Wasteland 3 and Tell Me Why all set to launch in August as part of Game Pass, this looks set to be a stellar month for the service. Still, I probably picked the wrong time to download PSO 2, given its hefty 73BG install.
