Zombie Army 4 is a game all about style, whether that’s how you decimate hordes of zombies or, erm, what kind of hat you wear. One of the unlockable pieces of headgear is the Soft Cap, though the game only tells you that it’s a secret without much to go off.
The Soft Cap is actually yours very early on in Zombie Army, the first mission, Dead Ahead, to be exact. But you will need to be fast.
On the Gone Off The Rails chapter of Dead Ahead, you will be moving along some a train platform when you find some stairs with the main objective lying to the right. Go straight on instead and down the flight of stairs.
You will soon see a small hut directly ahead of you with two soldiers trapped inside. They will die very quickly unless you can sprint over there and clear out all of the nearby zombies in time.
Once all the zombies are cleared out, the soldiers will then open up the safe in the hut where you will the Soft Cap along with a weapon attachment.
To equip the Soft Cap, simply go to your character selection, select character, and the scroll right until you see the headgear section. All characters will have the cap unlocked. You won’t be able to equip it in the middle of a mission, unfortunately.
