Youtubers Life 2 Coming To PC & Consoles This Year

YouTubers Life 2

Raiser Games have announced that they’re partnering with UPLAY Online once again to release Youtubers Life 2 on PC and consoles in 2021, allowing players to experience the world of content creation for themselves. The question now is who is going to be the first person to have a Youtubers Life 2-only YouTube account, creating some unholy meta channel, but in the meantime, the announcement trailer is at the top of the page.

What Is YouTubers Life 2?

Following on from the release of the original game five years ago, Youtubers Life 2 features a more contemporary look at the life of a professional content creator, with more features designed to better simulate the full life of a YouTuber, no matter what path you choose to take.

From the start, players will have more choice over the type of content they can create, including reviews, gameplay, speedruns, unboxing, interviews and more, on top of the usual video paths of gaming, make-up, cooking. YouTube is a vast landscape of content, so it’s good to see most forms will be represented.

Youtubers Life 2 will also include advanced subscriber and video statistics that’ll be powered by how broad your channel’s content is, along with daily trends that can affect your popularity. There’s also more personalisation options for both your character and home, deeper NPC relationships with additional questlines and more features to be announced in the coming months.

Quim Garrigós, the Project Director and Co-Founder of UPLAY, hopes Youtubers Life 2 will be an accurate potrayal of content creators: “The original Youtubers Life has been such a big success and continues to be to this day, but the kinds of things content creators are both doing and achieving now is monumentally different to the world we first looked to simulate back in 2016.”

He continues: “We wanted that original premise to grow with the content creators themselves, which is why we’ve been working on expanding our offering significantly with Youtubers Life 2. There’s nobody else, operating in this space, nobody else simulating Youtubers either big or small, so we’re proud to stand as the go-to game for gamers looking to live out their content creating dreams.”
