If you’ve been looking for something new to play this weekend on Xbox One, and you haven’t been fortunate enough to get a code for The Division 2 closed beta, here’s some good news for you. As part of Xbox’s regular Free Play Days promotion, Xbox Live Gold members can play Halo: The Master Chief Collection, Fishing Sim World and The Sims 4 all weekend. Just make sure to start downloading Halo soon, because it might take you all weekend to download it.

No official announcement appears to have been made from Xbox just yet, but an advert promoting the Free Play Days event is visible on the Xbox Dashboard. Furthermore, each title is available to install right now.

Free Play Days

Halo: The Master Chief Collection brings together the HD Remakes of Halo 1 & 2, along with re-releases of Halo 3 and 4, bundling them all together complete with multiplayer and Forge customisation. For Halo fans, it’s the perfect package, or at least it will be once they add Halo: Reach. Meanwhile, The Sims 4 is the latest in virtual torture technology, as you trap helpless Sims inside boxed rooms with no doors or windows, and Fishing Sim World is just like real life fishing, except there’s no risk of you getting soaked waiting for a fish to bite.
