Xbox Series X Launches November 10th, Will Cost $499/£449

Jesus Christ, finally we have some release date news.

Xbox Series X

After what seems like forever and a day, Microsoft have finally confirmed that the Xbox Series X will launch on November 10th, the same day as the Xbox Series S, for $499/£449. The Series S, meanwhile, will set you back around $299/£249.

Pre-orders for both consoles are set to go live on September 22nd, and you’ll be able to make use of the Xbox All-Access program in order to pay $35 a month for the console, instead of an expensive upfront cost. Both consoles will be launching in a week filled with big game releases, such as Yakuza: Like A Dragon, Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and more.

The Xbox Series S is an all-digital console that’s capable of running games natively at 1440p, up to 120fps, along with upscaled 4K. The Series X, meanwhile, is the goliath of the Xbox family. Touted as the world’s most powerful console, it’ll be able to output games in up to 8K, where supported, which means that about 3 people in the world right now will be very happy to hear that.
