Sportsball! Catch the fever!

Earlier today, it was announced that NBA 2K21 would be added to Xbox Game Pass from tomorrow, but it would appear that Microsoft are expanding on that news a little, and honestly, Game Pass Ultimate is getting a bit sports central this month.

More Sports Games?

Yes. In the official blog post from Xbox themselves, they run through the list of games that’ll be added to Xbox Game Pass soon. The list starts with Madden NFL 21, which is available as part of the EA Play subscription that comes with being an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.

Following on from that, tomorrow will see the addition of the already announced NBA 2K21 for both console and cloud-based players, while console players will be given access to Football Manager 2021: Xbox Edition. PC players will still get the PC version of FM2021, don’t worry.

What About After “Sports Week”?

Well, later on in March, Star Wars: Squadrons will be added to EA Play, which means it’ll be available as part of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, while April will see a potential Sports Week 2 in the form of NHL 21 being added to EA Play. There’s also the already confirmed Yakuza 6: The Song of Life, which is being added to the Xbox and Xbox Game Pass at the end of March, completing the Kazuma Kiryu saga of Yakuza games on the Xbox.
