After confirming yesterday that Ruby Riott had sustained an injury to her left knee, WWE.com has provided an update today, confirming the leader of the Riott Squad has in fact suffered a sprain in her MCL.
The extent of the injury has not yet been revealed, but, depending on the severity could determine whether Riott is out for weeks or months.
Riott joins a recent increase of roster injuries, alongside Bray Wyatt, who missed Raw after being involved in a car accident, and Shinsuke Nakamura, who had been bitten by a police dog last week (although he did still manage to appear at a WWE Live event in Tokyo on crutches).
