WWE Announce First 8 Competitors for UK Tournament

Blimey, we've only gone and got ourselves another bloody tourney!

WWE has revealed the first 8 competitors for the second WWE United Kingdom tournament next month:

Zack Gibson
Joe Coffey
Jack Gallagher
Dave Mastiff
El Ligero
Kenny Williams
Joseph Conners
Amir Jordan

These are eight of the UK’s top talents right now, often appearing in top promotions such as Progress, Insane Championship Wrestling and Revolution Pro Wrestling. It is fair to say that WWE are certainly pulling out all the stops in dominating in Britain, especially following reports that they are desperately trying to keep talent away from the revived classic British wrestling show, ‘World of Sport’.

There are some names in the list you may recognise already. Jack Gallagher has been a regular on 205 Live, after debuting in the Cruiserweight Classic previously.
Joseph Connors made his WWE debut in the first WWE tournament last year, where he was ultimately eliminated in the quarter finals.

In addition, Kenny Williams, one of ICW’s most popular members, made his WWE debut on the latest episode of 205 Live in a fatal four-way against Kalisto, TJP and former WWE UK Champion, Tyler Bate.

The final eight names will be announced on WWE.com this coming Friday, with the tournament bracket to follow soon after.
