Entrants in this year’s SSS16 include Matt Riddle, Jeff Cobb, Zack Sabre Jr, and former WWE UK Champion Tyler Bate. Many fans, however, are currently pegging ‘The Kiwi Buzzsaw’ Travis Banks, as an early favourite.

– On Twitter, Triple H announced that the upcoming WWE women’s tournament will officially be named the ‘Mae Young Classic’, after the late Hall of Famer and women’s wrestling legend, Mae Young.

In HHH’s words, this will ‘Honor the past. Look to the future.’

– This week’s Monday Night Raw has broken records, but not for the right reasons.

After another drop in viewership, the latest edition of Raw reached only 2,615,000 viewers, marking it as the least viewed episode in 2017 so far.

– Ring of Honor announced huge plans for a UK tour in August.

In conjunction with both NJPW and CMLL, the tour will carry across three days (London, Liverpool and Edinburgh) as part of the War of the World’s crossover, from August 18 – 20.

Rev Pro Wrestling ‘Summer Sizzler’ on August 17th will serve as a special kick-off event to the tour.

A release date for tickets and ticket prices have yet to be announced.

– Kenny King is currently starring on the latest season of American dating show ‘The Bachelorette’.

May he find love and live happily ever after.
