Will Luke Harper Be Back in WWE This Month?

Luke Harper

I don’t think I am the only one who appreciates a bit of Luke Harper. There was a time when he and Bray were neck-and-neck for being the best member of The Wyatt Family, especially considering Harper has had championship gold and Bray has not.

Something killed Harper’s momentum, though, resulting in him becoming almost a jobber near the end of his singles run before joining up again with the stable again. He’s been jobbed out a few times since (most notably to Brock Lesnar) and hasn’t really shown much to suggest he’s more than just the guy standing behind Bray.

After tearing his ACL, Harper went on the shelf and was absent from the WWE Draft, meaning that he’s on neither Smackdown Live or Monday Night Raw. The injury came in March and he was estimated to be out for roughly six months, which means that he could be back any time during September. He’s expected back in the Performance Center this week to assess his injury.

If all goes well, maybe we will see Harper back in a WWE ring before the month is up. An educated guess says that he will become a part of the Smackdown Live roster and join up with Bray and Erick Rowan once again. Here’s hoping they have some kind of plan for him and the stable going forward.
