Fortnite is currently in downtime as it turns back the clocks and returns to a more prehistoric time when dinosaurs walked the land and, erm, robot car guys chilled out in temples. If you’re eager to get back into the game and start finding out all that Wilds has to offer, you’re probably wondering when Fortnite will come back online for Chapter 4 – Season 3.
While not yet confirmed, Chapter 4 – Season 3 is likely to go live around 12PM BST / 7 AM ET / 6 AM CT / 4 AM PT, just based on every downtime for Fortnite to date. The downtime is usually pretty significant and can last for many hours, especially as Epic need to test to make sure everything’s in working order before they press the big button. Sometimes downtimes can even be longer than the standard five or so hours, just depending on if there are any issues while files are changed around.
Don’t forget that you will also need to download a fairly big patch for Chapter 4 – Season 3, which will likely run you gigabytes in the double digits. Once that’s been downloaded and the downtime is over, you can start looking forward to Wilds and all it has to offer, including rideable raptors, a brand new Victory Umbrella, and the return of the nefarious Doctor Slone.
If you need to have a slightly more chill time while playing the new season, don’t forget that bot lobbies are still an option.
