Wavves Made a Video Game About Punching Richard Spencer

Wavves game

When he isn’t busy not releasing new music for ages as Wavves, Nathan Williams likes to team up with his brother and make video games.

Kill the Alt-Reich is a whac-a-mole style effort that looks like a novelty and plays like one, too. We aren’t talking about anything that’s going to win awards: It’s a meaningless distraction that lets you punch an artifacted JPG of a neo-Nazi.

According to a rep at Ghost Ramp, the game was Nathan’s idea but his brother, Joel, actually developed it.

“This was Nathan’s idea and Joel, his younger brother, made the game! Joel has been working on lots of video game content, and this was originally something he built just learning, and Nathan had the idea of adding in Spencer instead of a traditional sort of Whac-A-Mole.”

You can download the game for PC and Mac here, if you want to ask yourself if it’s okay to punch a Nazi in the face. Cultured Vultures does not condone violence, but if someone happened to fall into Spencer’s face with a closed hand, we would see no issues.
