One of the biggest highlights of the Left 2 Dead series was the versus mode, which pitted a team of survivors against a team of infected in a battle for supremacy. It’s a mode that hasn’t really been replicated in other PvE horde style games, which is strange to me, but no longer. Fatshark have announced a versus mode for Warhammer Vermintide 2. In Vermintide 2’s Versus mode, a team of four player will control the various special Skaven and Rotblood, who must work together to inconvenience, incapacitate and eviscerate the team of survivors. Beta sign-ups are available right now over on the official website, along with some more details about how the Versus mode was conceived during development.
