Wampa-loads of Star Wars Games Discounted For Star Wars Day on Steam and PS Store

Jedi Outcast

Hey, did you hear? It’s Star Wars Day! What do you mean it’s an invented day for marketing purposes where everyone tries to earn a dollar, particularly content creators? Don’t be ridiculous. Anyway, here’s a list of the best Star Wars video games.

Speaking of video games set in the George Lucas interstellar funhouse, you can get lots of discounts on Star Wars games to tie in with this special day.

The best of the bunch has to be what’s going on over at Steam right now, offering a handsome 24 games from just over the price of one AAA game. They aren’t games that LucasArts found down the back of their sofa, either: the collection has titles like LEGO Star Wars, KOTOR, and Battlefront II. Almost all of the games are under $5 if you just want to pick and choose.

Moving on, the PlayStation Store has a decent selection, though the discounts are nowhere near as deep. Season passes and DLC are widely available, but the best price has to be Battlefront for under ten dollars. That being said, you can get it for “free” on EA Access.

GOG are offering a special promotion on Star Wars games, too. They’re mostly the same kind of offers that you will see on Steam, if a little more expensive. You can save 66% if you buy all nineteen games together, however.

Green Man Gaming are also holding a sale, but it doesn’t seem anywhere as good as Steam. There are just a few titles with reduced prices, and they aren’t heavy reductions either. Still, worth a look.

Now, if you’ll excuse me, I’m going to go play Battlefront II and pretend to be Grievous.
