Blue Manchu have announced via a Steam post that their popular sci-fi roguelike shooter Void Bastards will be getting a combination of free and paid DLC in the coming months.
Firstly, they will be rolling out a free challenge mode to all players. The mode is still in development, as Blue Manchu are finalising what sorts of challenges they will inflict upon players, but you can expect challenges along the lines of “stealthing your way past super tough enemies, being forced to rely on amped up authorisation skills to take over ship systems and managing a super fast but hard to control client”.
On top of that, the paid DLC promises “a new organization, complete with a new opponent, new ships and never before seen rewards”, along with a new weapon that will be revealed next week. No details on a release date for either piece of DLC, but with Void Bastards available in Xbox Game Pass, you’ve got plenty more reasons to come back to the Sargasso Nebula.
