Uncharted: The Lost Legacy Might Be Over Ten Hours Long

It may not have Nathan Drake (even as a cameo), but Uncharted fans have one big reason to look forward to the upcoming standalone expansion The Lost Legacy.

Instead of being just a bit of filler content or a quick distraction, Naughty Dog have confirmed that it could be over ten hours long. That’s CD Projekt Red kind of expansion sorcery right there.

Speaking to IBTimes, Arne Mayer, director of communications at Naughty Dog, had the following to say:

“Years ago, when we were asked if we were ever doing a single player expansion for Uncharted we always said, ‘Well, we don’t have the self-discipline to do that’. If we tried to do that we’d create a full game.

“There’s no way we could, sort of, constrict and restrain ourselves, and that’s exactly what was happening here. When we were doing story pitches, we were coming up with a game that would be over ten hours long and so we suddenly realised everything we said was true and we couldn’t keep it short.”

Naughty Dog’s love for making games might end up being better for the player, it would seem.

While you can purchase The Lost Legacy without Uncharted 4, there’s no price point released just yet. It’s out sometime this year, exclusively to PS4. Could it maybe join this list?
