Twin Peaks Pop-Up Restaurant Coming to London

Twin Peaks

Hot on the heels of the Game of Thrones restaurant from last year, it’s now the turn of another beloved TV show to get its own themed eatery.

‘The Owls Are Not What They Seem’ will be open for a limited only in the UK’s capital from August 27th-October 17th and will sate the hunger of many Twin Peaks fans. It has promised to be an ‘immersive dining experience’, which basically means that it’s going to be super damn expensive. If Secret Cinema has taught it’s anything, it’s that nerds have very open wallets.

For the princely sum of £65, you will presumably be able to drink all the coffee and a few kilos’ worth of cherry pie. Details are scarce about what exactly the menu will be, but if it’s Peaks-y, it’s going to be a little bit weird.

Twin Peaks fans have had a pretty decent year so far. With the announcement of its return to our screens, which was later pushed back to 2017 to accommodate more episodes, the internet quite suitably lost its freaking mind.

This restaurant might be an opportunistic cashgrab, but my money’s on it being an unmissable experience for fans of Lynch’s demented soap opera. As long as they don’t have backwards-speaking dwarves as waiters, it should be pretty great.
