Ratloop Games and Frontier Foundry have announced that Lemnis Gate, their turn-based strategy shooter hybrid, will be launching this summer on PC, PS4, PS4, Xbox One and Xbox Series X | S. Lemnis Gate Is A Turn-Based Strategy Hybrid?
Yes, which sounds incredibly intriguing, no? Players in either 1v1 or 2v2 matches take it in turns engaging in a 25 second time-loop, with each run through the loop introducing a new operative into the mix. As turns play out, new strategies will emerge that’ll allow you to get the upper hand on your opponent.
It’s a new and different take on the traditional multiplayer shooters that should change the way you approach shooters. Whether or not it’ll actually build a decent audience remains to be seen, but considering the fact that it’s launching on most major platforms, it’s got as good of a chance as any.
