Tropico 6 Finally Launches On PS4 & Xbox One This September

Who knew politics could be so entertaining?

Tropico 6 launched to great reviews on PC back in March, and console owners will finally discover what all the fuss was about when it arrives on PS4 and Xbox One on September 27.

A trailer for the console version was released on publisher Kalypso Media’s YouTube channel, and can be viewed below.

Similar to its predecessors, Tropico 6 is a construction and management simulator in which you govern a Caribbean nation throughout various stages of history. Whether you rule as a benevolent leader or a ruthless dictator will be entirely up to you, with freedom of choice being one of the defining features of the Tropico franchise. But this time, you get to manage multiple large islands at the same time, which can be linked by bridges for transportation if you so choose. Another new feature implemented by developer Limbic Entertainment is the ability to send your people on raids to steal famous landmarks from other parts of the world, so if you’ve ever dreamed about moving the Eiffel Tower to the Caribbean, well, now you can.

The console version of Tropico 6 is now available for pre-order, although Xbox One players can experience it now in Game Preview. So get ready to live out your wildest dictator fantasies.
