Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands

Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands is the latest entry into the Borderlands franchise, a fantasy spin-off that builds on a previous DLC to pretty silly and fun effect as its own standalone game. However, you might not want to play alone, so you’re going to want to play the game in co-op. Do you need PlayStation Plus for Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands on PS4 and PS5, though?

The short answer is yes, you do need a PlayStation Plus subscription to play Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands online on PlayStation. All premium games require your subscription to play multiplayer online; it’s only F2P games like Fortnite that don’t.

PlayStation Plus costs £6.99/$9.99 a month, or £49.99/$59.99 a year. Subscribers can also claim “free games” each month to add to their library that they will lose if their subscription lapses, as well as a bunch of other incentives like cloud saves. There is no free trial.

Bear in mind that you can play Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands completely solo if you want to and won’t need a PlayStation Plus subscription if it’s just you, blasting away on your lonesome.

Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands is available on PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X & S, and Xbox One.
