There’s A Jumanji Video Game Coming To PC And Consoles

Because sure. Why not?

Jumanji

It was only a few weeks ago that we published an article about movie tie-in games and how we’d like to see more, and lo and behold, Funsolve drop this one on our laps. They have announced that they will be releasing Jumanji: The Video Game on PS4, Xbox One, PC and the Nintendo Switch on November 15th, just a month before the third Jumanji film is released. I guess that makes it somewhat relevant. Somewhat, I guess.

The game will tie in to the most recent film, Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, and includes likenesses from Dwayne Johnson, Kevin Hart, Karen Gillan and Jack Black. Whether it includes voices is another story, but at least it looks like The Rock.

As for the gameplay, it’s a four player co-op adventure where all the players must work together to conquer the enemies and pitfalls that the world of Jumanji throw at you. The official website states that “no two rounds of Jumanji are ever the same”, which implies that the video game will offer short, replayable experiences that’ll offer new challenges every time you play. Of course, that’s pure speculation at this point, but we’ll find out more in the run up to the game’s launch in November.
