The World’s Finest Assassin Gets Reincarnated In Another World As An Aristocrat is an isekai fantasy anime adaptation which follows the story of a master assassin. After his old employers sabotage his plane in the real world, his soul is brought to a goddess, who reincarnates him into a world of swords and magic in exchange for him assassinating the Hero who will bring destruction to that world. Being reborn into a family of noble assassins, the protagonist – who is now named Lugh Tuatha Dé – has 18 years to complete his goal and swears to use everything he can to fulfil his goal, along the way, shrugging off his old life as a tool for murder and embracing his humanity.
Though the isekai subgenre is overdone, The World’s Finest Assassin makes good use of the tropes of the media – the harem he gets throughout the first season is simply so that he can have people to help him obtain his goal, the reason he is so skilled and powerful is because of he retains the memories of his previous life. With the first of the light novels adapted and the plot set up, fans eagerly await The World’s Finest Assassin: Season 2.
When Is The World’s Finest Assassin: Season 2 Being Released?
At the time of writing this, there is no news about The World’s Finest Assassin: Season 2. There has been no word from the creators of the original light novel or the anime distributors/ animators about a second season for the show. However, it is still relatively new, with the first season only concluding at the end of 2021, so a follow-up season is still possible.

What Is The World’s Finest Assassin: Season 2 About?
The original source material of The World’s Finest Assassin was written by Rui Tsukiyo, who is best known for the infamous Redo of Healer, and illustrated by Reia. Season one concluded on a huge cliffhanger with the Hero, Epona Rhiannon, being introduced.
If there was going to be The World’s Finest Assassin: Season 2, the story would follow adapting the second instalment of the light novel, which has Lugh, Dia and Tarte enrolling in an elite academy in the Kingdom of Alvan to get close to the Hero. However, Rhiannon turns out to be different to what Lugh first expected.
Which Studio Is Making The World’s Finest Assassin: Season 2?
The World’s Finest Assassin was adapted by two animation studios, Silver Link and Studio Palette, with Crunchyroll licensing the anime outside of Asia, so the likelihood is that this will continue for The World’s Finest Assassin: Season 2.

The World’s Finest Assassin: Season 2 will most likely air on Crunchyroll. As of this moment in time, The World’s Finest Assassin: Season 1 is only available for streaming on Crunchyroll.
