Telltale’s The Walking Dead Season 1 Coming To Switch

The Walking Dead: The Final Season

Telltale have announced that they will be bringing the entirety of their The Walking Dead series to Switch, starting with the first (and arguably best) season arriving on the console on August 28th.

The Switch version will be a port of the version found The Walking Dead Collection, which features updated visuals and performance. It will only be available digitally and comes with all five episodes, as well as the 400 Days DLC, which very loosely ties into season 2.

The second season and A New Frontier will also be ported to Switch at a later date, though no specific release window has yet to be announced. It’s possible that they may arrive before the end of the year to coincide with The Final Season’s last ever episode.

The first episode of The Final Season is out now on Switch, as well as PS4, Xbox One and PC — it hasn’t been confirmed for mobile devices just yet.

We were very impressed with what we’ve seen of The Walking Dead: The Final Season so far, going on to give its first instalment a 9/10:

“The first episode of Telltale’s The Walking Dead: The Final Season is exactly what the series needed to remind people why it was such a success back in 2012.”
