Telltale’s Minecraft: Story Mode Season 2 Seems To Be On the Way

Minecraft Story Mode

These ratings boards need to rein it in. After accidentally leaking information on countless unreleased games over the last two years, another one has dropped the ball with the Australian Ratings Board revealing that Minecraft: Story Mode will be getting a second season.

Seemingly confirming the name of the first episode, A Hero In Residence, the game has been given a PG rating ahead of its release in the near future. You just know Minecraft fans are going to lap it up.

Despite not being the most critically successful Telltale game to date, Story Mode has been a major commercial success, owing plenty to the name attached to it. It was so popular, in fact, that Telltale created three additional episodes for it as extra DLC.

As for everything else Telltale, The Walking Dead’s third season just wrapped up, the second episode of its Guardians of the Galaxy adaptation is almost upon us, and production has started on a second season of Game of Thrones. The Wolf Among Us season 2, on the other hand, remains a pipedream. We recently wrote about it on a list of AWOL games we want to see at E3 2017, but we are not holding out hope.
