Nintendo have announced that they’re ready to unveil the next DLC character for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, and the first character for the game’s Fighters Pass Vol. 2. It’s already been revealed that the character will be a representative from fellow Nintendo Switch fighting game ARMS, but we’ll find out who it is very soon. Check out the tweet below.

The stream is set to take place on Monday, June 22nd at 7am PT/10am ET/3pm BST, and will feature 35 minutes of details, gameplay and new footage regarding the upcoming character. We should probably expect a new stage of some kind, along with an array of ARMS music to be added to the game, along with a release date for the character.
What you shouldn’t expect, however, is an announcement of the DLC character after the ARMS addition. In a follow-up tweet, Nintendo clarified that there will be “no further new fighter reveals other than a fighter from ARMS in this livestream”. Anyone looking to cross more predictions off their bingo boards will have to wait a little bit longer, unfortunately. Which ARMS character do you think will be added to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate?
