Super Mario All-Stars Joins The SNES Switch Online Library Today

Hey now, you're an all-star.

Super Mario All-Stars

During today’s Nintendo Direct celebrating the 35th anniversary of Super Mario, the company revealed a host of new games that players can look forward to over the next months. However, you don’t have to wait long for this one, as Super Mario All-Stars is joining the SNES Digital Library for the Nintendo Switch today.

A classic bundle from the SNES, and one that’s referenced by the name of the recently announced Super Mario 3D All-Stars, this game included upgraded versions of Super Mario Bros, Super Mario Bros: The Lost Levels, Super Mario Bros. 2 and Super Mario Bros. 3.

Because it’s part of the Nintendo Switch’s SNES library, you will need an online subscription in order to play this classic, but four classic games to play with certainly nothing to sneeze it, especially as you pass the time until Super Mario 64, Sunshine and Galaxy all come to the Nintendo Switch. Personally, I’m just using this news as an excuse to post this compilation video of UK Nintendo adverts featuring the late, great Rik Mayall. It ends with Super Mario All-Stars, so it’s relevant at least.
