Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury Comes To Nintendo Switch Next Year

Time to throw your mates off ledges all over again.

Super Mario 3D World

During today surprise Nintendo Direct celebrating Super Mario’s 35th anniversary, Nintendo have announced that they’ll be bringing another Wii U title to the Nintendo Switch, with the often-requested Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury launching February 12, 2021. Check out the debut trailer below.

As you’d expect from a port that now features a brand new subtitle, Bowser’s Fury is a set of additional content coming to the game Nintendo are currently remaining tightlipped about it. We see a snippet of the new content towards the end of the trailer, so we can expect brand new levels and new opportunities to murder our friends in the name of “co-op”.

Super Mario 3D World for the Nintendo Switch will include both local and online 4-player co-op, meaning you can enjoy the full game with your friends regardless of where you are, which is lovely to hear if lockdown remains a thing in 2021. Glad to know I can still safely play with friends.
