Super Mario 64 Best Platformer Games

It’s a good moment for anyone looking to relive some of Mario’s finest adventures, as Super Mario 3D All-Stars has launched today for the Nintendo Switch. The bundle includes fully remastered versions of Super Mario 64, Sunshine and Galaxy, but not Galaxy 2 unfortunately. Check out the trailer below.

Fully remastered to support HD resolution and, in some cases, motion controls, 3D All-Stars is pretty much a definitive collection of fantastic 3D Mario games. Some might argue that the DS version of Super Mario 64 with additional playable characters is the superior version of 64, and the lack of Galaxy 2 is baffling, but still. Sunshine on the Nintendo Switch sounds good to me.

That being said, Super Mario 3D All-Stars is only going to be available to purchase for a limited time, with Nintendo removing the game on March 31st 2021, at which point you’ll only be able to play the game if you have it already downloaded. It’s a mind-boggling decision from Nintendo, but it’s the decision they made regardless. Will you be picking up Super Mario 3D All-Stars? Sound off in the comments.
