Killing the Justice League? Easier said than done.

The DC Cinematic Universe is in a state of flux at the minute, with James Gunn taking the helm and announcing a raft of new project for the next few years. Now, there are more eyes on DC’s output than ever, including their upcoming games such as Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League. With that in mind, some people may wonder whether or not Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League will be making its way over to Xbox Game Pass at some point.

As of right now, the answer is no, Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League will not be launching on Xbox Game Pass when it releases on May 26th, 2023. However, this doesn’t necessarily rule out a Game Pass launch later on after the game has been released, as there are already a few Batman-centric/DC games available on the service.

Currently, there are a couple of DC games that are already available on Xbox Game Pass, including Batman: Arkham Knight, Injustice 2 and DC League of Super-Pets: The Adventures of Krypto and Ace. Gotham Knights isn’t yet on there, but considering how that game needs a shot in the arm, it wouldn’t be a surprise. Seeing Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League alongside fellow DC titles wouldn’t look out of place, but comic book fans will have to wait for a bit before that has any chance of becoming a reality.

About Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League

As the name would imply, Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League is about the Suicide Squad being tasked with killing the Justice League. Sounds simple enough, right? Not quite, considering the Justice League is comprised of the most powerful heroes on Earth (and maybe the whole universe), while you’re just a team of criminals looking for a reduced jail sentence. Somehow, it doesn’t seem fair.

Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League sees Brainiac invading the Earth and brainwashing the Justice League to become his troopers. With Superman, Batman, The Flash and more all controlled by Brainiac, humanity’s last hope rests on the shoulders of Task Force X, comprised of Deadshot, Harley Quinn, King Shark and Captain Boomerang.

Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League is set to launch on May 26th, 2023 for PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X & S.
