SUDA51 Announces No More Heroes 3 Delayed Until 2021

Another one bites the (COVID-19) dust.

No More Heroes 3

Anyone looking forward to playing No More Heroes 3 on their Nintendo Switch is going to be disappointed, as the game’s director SUDA51 has taken to Twitter to announce that the game will be delayed until 2021. You can check out the announcement for yourself below.

As with the majority of game delays from 2020, the effects of COVID-19 on game development have proven to be a bit too much for the folks at Grasshopper Manufacture. The statement reads: “All staff members at Grasshopper have been working as hard as possible on developing the game in hopes of releasing it in 2020, but the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic have unfortunately proven to be a real body blow to our schedule, causing unforeseen delays in development.”

While the news of a delay is certainly disappointing for fans of the series, the reasoning is completely understandable, as studios across the world have been grappling with the effects of the current pandemic. In some good news though, SUDA51 announces that the comic book illustrator, Darick Robertson, best known for his work on The Boys and Happy!, will be joining the project to create some art for the game.
